AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes

AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes
I love a sunburnt country / A land of sweeping plains / Of ragged mountain ranges / Of droughts and flooding rains / I love her far horizons / I love her jewel-sea / Her beauty and her terror / The wide brown land for me / ~ Dorothea Mackellar (1885-1968)

An interesting word picture there.

Starting out with just the much practised, commonly outlines but steps out and finds courage within his/her new found freedom as he/she steps out on their own to try the new and untested broad brush strokes.

Very cool poem!

My poem is about the curiosity of a life's journey and it is up at my place:
