AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes
I love a sunburnt country / A land of sweeping plains / Of ragged mountain ranges / Of droughts and flooding rains / I love her far horizons / I love her jewel-sea / Her beauty and her terror / The wide brown land for me / ~ Dorothea Mackellar (1885-1968)

Tied to the Waiting Post

Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ This little guy was waiting at Dromana Hub Shopping Centre, Mornington Peninsula. His owner was nowhere in sight. The day was cold and bleak and drizzly, so his owner had tied him up just inside the first set of automatic sliding glass doors. When I first went in to do my shopping I saw him there on the seat with head between his paws. I could not take a pic because he was really upsetting me. On my return, he was sitting up like this watching intently. I could cope with this pose, so out came the camera that always travels with me. And voila! I so wish he was mine!

I too hate to see this sight, it is so upsetting. He is such a sweet little dog you just want pick he up and hug the smile back onto his face.

He's an adorable little dog. He must have been bored tied up like that waiting for his owner to pick him up.

Even I think that is an adorable dog, and I am NOT usually a dog person. Such a great shot!

Sorry I am so behind on my PSF hosting and commenting duties. Getting a stomach virus made looking at a computer screen just too much this weekend.
