The older we get the more fleeting the time, every moment a precious drop of nourishment. If I had that beauty from my deck and those sweet creatures to talk to every day, I'm afraid my time would be flittered away to dreamtimes.

How fortunate we are have these lives, no matter how fleeting. To catch the beauty of each day, even in winter, is a gift.

I hope all is well with you my Aussie friend, enjoy your summer sun...my sun is cold and crisp this early morn in Iowa...but the days are getting longer, as yours are wane.

Much love friend!

Hi Gemma, time is not usually on our side, is it?
I like it! I came to see what you were going to do witht he prompt, of course you are the author and WILL be the best. Thank you.
We miss so much and blame it on time. But it isn't time's fault when we mismanage it. Like your last, some times we have regrets for not taking the time we had.
I mentioned before that I was on the light side, I had fun but not too much time. Now, 'if I only had the time.'

I love the idea of taking time as a friend. Beautiful work altogether, Gemma. Thanks.

This prompt struck a chord with me. My perspective is that time is more 'fleeting' than 'raw'. I'm intrigued by the idea of climbing down inside the stairway.

I always smile when I stop here to read ... time, stairs and painful knees, that's my curse. I don't think time will ever be my friend, but it is a great healer.

Perspective always plays its part in our appreciation of time.

So often we say or think time is not on our side, but perhaps the opposite is really the case!

thank you for a very rich prompt.

Thanks for the prompt this week. It made me think of time lost or what cannot be rather than what could happen. Guess the gloomy winter days have me in a more melancholy mood for expression...

I too thank you for such a thought provoking prompt, and for a lovely interpretation of it.

This is becoming a real problem in our society, I think. The demands of life are diminishing time with friends...I enjoyed all of your interpretations!

You know...sometimes...I think we press against time more than it presses on us.
ps: I love the music here...it is so soothing to my ears.

Cursed by perspective. Yes, that happens to me quite a lot.

you have truly captured something essential here in time as something weighty/fleeting...how many days have i lamented the loss what i let initially pass by as a burden.

a terrific prompt...thank you!!
