Indeed timeless...to me there is nothing more comforting that the sounds and smells of the sea...not to mention that wonderful view you have!
I walked out on my porch last night just to listen to the sounds of the snow...total silence, the smell...nothing but cold emptyness...a quiet beauty we endure once a year...I think I'll hunker down today with many cups of coffee and let the winds finish their soft, white sculptures in my drive.
At least we're on the downhill side...enjoy your beverage and the sunburn...I'll be thinkin' of ya in your turn in the sun.
