AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes
I love a sunburnt country / A land of sweeping plains / Of ragged mountain ranges / Of droughts and flooding rains / I love her far horizons / I love her jewel-sea / Her beauty and her terror / The wide brown land for me / ~ Dorothea Mackellar (1885-1968)

One Single Impression prompt #46 ~ A Summer's Day
~

A summer's day is time for waters
Time out to sail or swim blue waves
Time to feel the rays of sun
Time to see holidays
Time to hear music
Time to be free
Time to live
Time in
Warmth

I love the repetition in the poem, and the cycling of the poem which shows visibly in how the words are arranged...like a countdown to summer!

Dear Gemma--
I've thought of you often as we've been writing poems and commentary about winter...that for you, this is lovely summer! I love it that somewhere in this big, lucious world, it's summer!

Thanks for the pics and the sweet poem!

Time...and ummer will arrive to those of us who wait...it's comforting to know that somewhere in this world of ours there is always summer.

Lovely poem and pictures.

This is so very nice, your picture too. Is that your daily view? If so I'm jealous. Of course you are having summer right now. It is cold here in Texas right now, we got down to 30°F last night.
We escaped to the Caribbean last week but had to come back Tuesday.
