The Country Fire Authority has now evolved to become one of the world's largest volunteer based emergency management organisations.
There are currently more than 1,200 CFA brigades servicing the operational areas throughout regional Victoria (except state forests and parks) and outer metropolitan Melbourne.
See the CFA website for more details.

Hooray for the CFA!
That:s a good job! Thanks for sharing:)
Red cars in the back adds nicely to the sign. Did you ring the bell? Happy RT!
In your country at this time, I imagine the CFA is probably the most important organization. God bless those who volunteer and endanger themselves to help others.
Happy Tuesday,

I wonder if that bells rings when the officers go off to rescue? :P
Happy Ruby Tuesday Gemma :)
Good choice for Ruby Tuesday! Love the bell.
You must be proud of your CFA! Mr. Linky is up Gemma so you can sign! Happy Ruby Tuesday! :)
I have no clue about CFA. It's nice to know that there are still big-hearted people in the world!
Way to honor these wonderful folks!
Hugs and blessings,
