I love your post. Both pic and poem are perfect.
So very true. Great words.
Well said..

Listening is an art too few appreciate.
I do believe there's as much to hear in silence as in any sound.
And...we can listen in the most din-filled chatoic environs!
Thanks for this--and the photo!
Silence has a music of it's own, doesn't it? Too few of us remember to listen to the silence... And sometimes we forget to listen to the music too. I like how your poem reflects both.
The image of tuned silence suggests to me peace and a sense of being connected to the world. Thanks, Gemma.
Listening indeed is an art. Thank you for this nice reminder.
I found out later in life that note taking helps a lot, it makes a better listener and now I have a reminder.
I do that for Sunday sermons in church. I didn't do that the first time I went to college and had to quit, I was a very poor student then.
..
BTW, Beyonce and ZZ Top are two of our contemporary Houston performers. I grew up with ZZ Top in midlife.
..
Oh, how sweet and true - love the photo and the words that mean so much.
"tuned calm silence"
Now that's unique.
You said it well..just right-
