Colonial Scarecrow Family

Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ October is Scarecrow Festival time on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria.
There are many fascinating interpretations of scarecrows to be found around Red Hill and the mountain of Arthurs Seat.
This collection of scarecrows feature near the emtrance to the Red Hill Showground.
Fortunately/unfortunately, the wired fence + background are so close to the figures that it is impossible (I am in the "small stuff" category) to photograph them completely.
So I worked with the "intruders" and decided to suggest some symbolic interpretation.

Can't say I have ever heard of a scarecrow competition. Woorzle Gummidge should be the judge.
