AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes
I love a sunburnt country / A land of sweeping plains / Of ragged mountain ranges / Of droughts and flooding rains / I love her far horizons / I love her jewel-sea / Her beauty and her terror / The wide brown land for me / ~ Dorothea Mackellar (1885-1968)

A Barrel o' Water Fun!

Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ Even though bright, modern, fast jet skis were racing around further out in the bay, these youngsters paddled around closer to shore in these strange craft!
Some were made of drums. Some were two old boats hitched together to make a catamaran. Some even looked like giant plastic bottles.
Creative fun seems to be alive and well in Dromana on the Mornington Peninsula!

Bits and pieces rafts
Anything to float a boat
Zany water sports

Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ In case you are wondering, you are looking at 2 separate craft here with 4 rowers each. One is just a little low in the water!

That looks like fun. I'm looking forward to the warmer weather when we can get into the water here without freezing our tushies.
