I believe the very first time I saw a pelican was at a zoo in Perth, Australia. I've seen more since then but always in the air, never on the beach such as shown in your picture.

Great shot of the beautiful White Pelicans. They are prettier than the drab Brown Pelicans on our eastern shores here in south Florida.

What a beautiful photography. Guess if one would be able to understand what they say, with their large mouth, it would be sure a surprise.
