I love a sunburnt country / A land of sweeping plains / Of ragged mountain ranges / Of droughts and flooding rains / I love her far horizons / I love her jewel-sea / Her beauty and her terror / The wide brown land for me / ~ Dorothea Mackellar (1885-1968)

A little whimsy is delightful. This reminds me of childhood.
I'm just sure if you'd waited long enough you'd have gotten a good picture of the Brownie who lives in there ;>)
How cute is that... So colorful and fun. Love the haiku.
How dull would life not be without some fantasy.
I'm always attracted to the red fly mushroom, even though it's one of the most toxic ones.
It's so temptingly good looking, hard to believe it's lethal.
This a wonderful toadstool! I forget what lives in those (gnomes or gremlins), but whomever does, this is the prettiest one in the woods!
I'm loving your pictures of Point Nepean, how beautiful, no wonder you love going there. This is what I loved about living in Florida, the ocean was only an hour away from where I lived, such a temptation to just go walk...some day this dreamer will make it back, maybe when the snows fly the perfect time will arise.
Have a great week dear friend!

That's very cool photo, just perfect color for RT. I like it there is a beautiful lady on the right side too.
Hey! Isn't that something? You made me smile. :)
I love it. So whimsical. I can imagine a life living in a place such as this.
Peace.
