This is McCulloch Street leading from Dromana on the foreshore up into the Dromana Hills on Arthurs Seat mountain.
Toward the centre of this photo you can see one of several Mornington Peninsula freeway bridges.
Easing traffic flow
Functional bridge with small charm
Beauty of access
The bridge is of simple design but practically it's a very effective link between the peninsula townships.
(I took this photo in between the swooshing of the wiper blades! Almost made it!)

Good one.
I love the perspective in your photos, and the delicate mist:)
That first shot actually gave me tickles in my stomach! Ha!
Australia, aaah, Australia I miss you!
snif!
Plain old bridge of simple design work just as well as the fancy new ones. The purpose it to move people and traffic from point A to point B, and this one looks to be able to do it quite well. Another misty day, I see. We have ben having a lot of those lately. Sadly my computer would not let me see your first picture so am only commenting on the second. Sometimes it will do that for no reason at all. I just get a question mark in the middle of a blue square and no photo. genie
hee hee... A different kind of drive-by shooting!
Shooting a photo of a bridge while driving in the rain!
Belatedly, «Louis» thanks you for your contribution to Sunday Bridges.
Serves its purpose, right! Even when the skies are gray, your neighborhood is picturesque! Thanks for stopping by.
