AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes

AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes
I love a sunburnt country / A land of sweeping plains / Of ragged mountain ranges / Of droughts and flooding rains / I love her far horizons / I love her jewel-sea / Her beauty and her terror / The wide brown land for me / ~ Dorothea Mackellar (1885-1968)

Unstable Cliffs

At London Bridge Ocean Beach, Portsea this area has been barricaded.
But just beyond is this extra warning sign of danger!
The cliffs are very steep here and they're made of crumbling sandstone and sands!

A funny cartoon
Descriptive visual sign
Serious message

That sign says it all with the figure falling off the cliff!

The sign is definitely a serious message to heed; but when I read unstable cliffs I pictured them as being mad and reaching out to get you. I think the word unstable makes us think of more human emotions.
Great find!

I would definitely NOT be waling out on those cliffs. I am one of those old fogies who obeys the signs. genie

I wouldn't have known what the sign meant without the words underneath....I thought it meant "falling rocks"!
