AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes
I love a sunburnt country / A land of sweeping plains / Of ragged mountain ranges / Of droughts and flooding rains / I love her far horizons / I love her jewel-sea / Her beauty and her terror / The wide brown land for me / ~ Dorothea Mackellar (1885-1968)

The available light, no matter how faint, allow for little shadows. They may not be a big as in the daylight, but their effect is magnified even more at dusk. The little light in the evening is quite welcome to the night traveller!
Gemma, I really like these night shadows. Eerie, yet somehow soothing. Nice!
A nice contrast to the normal sunny shadows!
Such lovely, mysterious shadow shot for the day, Gemma! I love it! Hope you have a very Happy Easter!

Night shadows are wonderful and this almost has an air of mystery about it. Lovely!
a lovely still and quiet shot....
I like this shot!
There is a feeling of comfort in it.
It looks scary but the ambiance of coziness in the patio rules.
Nice photo, Gem...

Very unusual shadow shot! Almost black and white except for the understated lighted window.
Beautifully captured Gemma. If reminds me of an our-ot-body experience I had where I was in a warm, comforting shadowland.
How I love this Gemma! My favorite part of the picture is the glow from the window on the bench....love this!
What a beautiful capture of mood. The contrasts are wonderful.
Gemma ! I love this photograph of your night on the deck .. everything does have a life of it's own at this time of our 24 hours .. all you needed was a full moon and a wolf howling in that back ground ? LOL
